![]() ![]() ![]() I’d rather not see the game die down so quickly just in the name of keeping power creep at bay. If they keep nerfing things instead of buffing things all because they want to avoid power creep, then they’re going to continue to bleed players until the game gets to the point that power creep already had time to settle in. I don’t care that I was doing billions of damage per hit. I hopped on to d3 the other day for a few minutes and had a blast murdering a normal rift on my monk. But diablo 4 is making me change my mind about that. I used to be a big advocate of keeping power creep down in video games lest it turns into a game that trivializes old content, makes the game pump out huge numbers, and any other number of things. It is progression, simple as that which is why some people like me play these games. Dont see why people have an issue with the damage numbers, its fun to keep progressing and see how high your damage can get in D3.
